How do I pause my service?
Pausing your service is the best option if you are going out of town, dealing with drought conditions, or simply don't need maintenance for an extended period. When you pause, all future visits are suspended until you choose to resume or until the start of the next mowing season.
How to pause service in the app
Open the LawnGuru app and tap My Service in the bottom navigation bar.
Find the service card you wish to put on hold and tap Manage.
Tap the Options (•••) button.
Select Pause Service.
Choose the specific week you would like your service to stop, then tap Yes to confirm pause.
Important things to know
Stopping vs. Resuming: When you select a week during the pause process, you are choosing when you want services to stop, not when they will restart.
ASAP Services: If you have an "ASAP" service already scheduled for the current week, pausing will not automatically cancel it. You must manually Skip that specific visit to prevent the provider from arriving before your pause takes effect.
Seasonal Resumption: All paused services are automatically reset at the start of the new mowing season. Don't worry—we will send you a notification before the season begins so you can review your schedule or make changes.
Ready to resume?
Whenever you're ready for your provider to return, simply navigate back to the Manage section of your service and select Resume Service to get back on the schedule.
