How do I delete my card on file?
You can manage your saved cards at any time through the LawnGuru app. However, for security and service continuity, the app will not allow you to delete a card if it is currently linked to an active service.
How to remove a card
If you do not have any active service requests or recurring plans, follow these steps:
Open the LawnGuru app and tap the Account tab.
Tap Payments & Promos.
Tap the red "X" (❌) icon next to the card you wish to remove.
Tap Yes to confirm the deletion.
Why can't I delete my card?
If you are unable to delete a specific card, it is likely because that card is currently assigned to a recurring service (like weekly mowing or AutoPlow).
To delete a card currently in use:
Add the new card first: Follow the steps on how to add/update your new payment method in the Payments & Promos section.
Assign the new card: Go to the My Service tab, select Manage, tap the Options (•••) button, and choose Change Payment.
Switch the service: Select your new card as the primary payment method for that service.
Delete the old card: Once the old card is no longer "attached" to any active services, return to the Payments & Promos screen to remove it.
Important Note
If you wish to remove all payment methods and close your account entirely, please ensure all pending payments for completed services have been processed first.
