You can very easily cancel your service through the LawnGuru app. To avoid any cancellation fees, it's best to do so at least one day in advance. Cancelling once your pro is on their way incurs a fee for their time and gas. Once a job is started, it cannot be cancelled. Follow the instructions below to cancel:
In the App
- Tap My Service
- Tap the Manage button
- Tap the •••
- Tap Cancel Service
- Select reason
- Tap the green > arrow
Due to the additional discounts, there is a 2 cut minimum for weekly services before they can be canceled. If there are extenuating circumstances and a weekly job must be canceled prior to 2 services, please contact LawnGuru support.
If you'd like to Skip a single service appointment, you can do so very easily within the app. Skipping an appointment means your service will automatically resume on your designated week. Learn how to skip a service here. Best practice is to skip service in advance.
Hint: If you no longer need service due to the time of year, you can also Pause your service in order to lock in your current rate so you will not be affected by price increases in the future and will keep the same service provider when service resumes. Learn how to Pause your service here.
