A job may disappear from your board for two reasons:
- The customer's card failed when you swiped “Go to Job.”
- The customer has canceled their job.
- The customer requested to skip their current service.
It’s incredibly important to always slide “go to job” when you’re truly going to the job to ensure payment. If you render the service and then slide all functions at the same time (go to job/start job/finish job) and the card fails, we can’t guarantee payment. That function is built specifically so that work isn’t rendered when payment isn’t available.
Also, customers receive notifications when each function is swiped updating them about the status of their order. If they're notified their job was started and finished in 60 seconds, it gives room for the belief that a thorough service was not provided, if at all. Please be conscious of this as together we're delivering a service that requires superior execution from start to finish.
Pro Tip: Customers can cancel an unneeded service before the "Start Job" function is swiped (however please swipe Go to Job & Start Job in real-time to abide by LawnGuru's ToS. If you arrive to a property and the customer cancels you will be granted a Trip Charge (approx. $10) for your time. If all functions are slid at the same time, customers will not have the opportunity to cancel and your trip charge will not be granted.
