Jobs can disappear from your board for two reasons. Either the card has failed when you swiped “go to job” - which is an automatic cancelation; or the customer has canceled their service/ job.
It’s incredibly important to always slide “go to job” when you’re truly going to the job, reason being is that if you render the service and then slide all functions at the same time (go to job/ finish job) and the card fails, we can’t guarantee payment. That function is built specifically so that work isn’t rendered when payment isn’t available.
Also, customers will see that the job was started and finished in 60 seconds, which results in them believing that the cut was never performed etc. In addition to them believing it’s never been performed, they are much more likely to nit-pick the service if they don’t think an appropriate amount of time was taken for a service that they’re paying for. Please be cognizant of this as we do offer a service, it needs to be executed properly from start to finish.
The last reason this is an important function to perform in order, is because if a customer doesn’t want service, they can cancel when a pro is on their way/ at the property- which is a $5.00 or $10.00 charge as opposed to the lawn mow. If they don’t need or want service, and all functions are slid at the same time, they don’t have the opportunity to cancel.
