Special jobs are one-time requests that can include a variety of work such as Yard Clean Ups, Aeration, Sprinkler Winterization, Mulch Spreading, Bed Weeding, Hedge Trimming and more.
Preferred Providers are able to submit quotes when a special job becomes available. Quotes must always be submitted through the LawnGuru app. Giving a quote directly to a customer is a violation of LawnGurus Provider terms of service and may result with being removed from the LawnGuru platform.
Viewing Special Jobs
Preferred Providers will receive new job alerts when a special job becomes available within their service area. To view job details providers can tap on the star marker from the map or select the job from the available jobs screen.
Details including location and work description are displayed after tapping on a job. It's important to read and understand all aspects of the job before submitting a quote. If you have questions regarding the job please contact LawnGurus provider support team.
Some jobs may require visiting the property before submitting a quote. Tapping the blue directions arrow will place a temporary two hour hold on the job and provide turn by turn directions to the property. After two hours the job becomes avaialble again for other providers to quote.
Submitting A Quote
When you're ready to submit a quote there are three simple steps.
1. Enter your price.
2. Select the day you're able to perform the work on.
3. Tap the Submit Quote button.
Make sure to include the cost of all materials within your quote. For example, a mulch spreading quote should include the cost of mulch and the labor to instal. You will be responsible for all upfront material costs.
After submitting your quote we'll forward a copy it to the customer. The price a customer sees includes LawnGurus processing fees. Therefor it may be higher then the price you entered.
If the customer accepts your quote you'll receive a text confirmation and the job will be added your route sheet for the scheduled date.
