Paying for service is done entirely through the LawnGuru app.
When you create a LawnGuru account you will be asked to enter your payment information- in the form of either a debit or credit card.
If you have more than one card on file when checking out for service, simply tap the payment method to select from your available cards. From there you can choose which card to attach to the service or add a new card to your account entirely.
When your Provider marks himself 'en route' to your job, there is a ping sent to your bank to ensure the payment method on file is valid and funds are available. If it's not valid, the job will be automatically canceled. If it is valid, service will continue as usual. Once a job is complete, that payment will be withdrawn from the account.
You can save multiple forms of payment to your account and choose your payment method at the confirmation screen. However, if the card attached to the service is invalid, our system will not automatically switch to the next card for the service. Please assign the card that you would like to use, or contact a LawnGuru agent for assistance.
