LawnGuru employs local companies, and family businesses. This is a community platform, made up of our Customers as well as our Service Pros. Our Star Rating system has been put in place to help keep our providers accountable, and our standards of service high. 

The Star Rating system was established to demand rigorous standards that providers must meet in order to use our platform. The star rating system ensures providers continue to uphold these standards for each and every customer that requests service.

Each rating you give can have an impact on a Provider's future with LawnGuru. Ratings should reflect the quality of work a Provider performs. One star being very poor, five stars being excellent. If a provider's average rating falls below four stars they will be removed from the LawnGuru community.

After each service is completed, the Star Rating option will show up the next time a customer opens their app. We encourage honest reviews and are also happy to personally manage any other feedback a customer may have.

Note: When rating your provider, please only consider the experience that particular provider gave you. For example, if you were paired up with a provider that released your service and another provider picked it up and promptly serviced you, don't penalize the new pro with a low rating due to the initial release. Providers are automatically penalized for things that cause a poor experience like overdue jobs or releases.
