Overview

By participating in the LawnGuru consumer referral program (the “Referral Program”), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Referral Terms”), which are in addition and subject to the LawnGuru Consumer Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Terms and Conditions for Promotional Offers and Credits. If you do not agree to the Referral Terms, please do not participate in the Referral Program. 

LawnGuru reserves the right to change these Referral Terms at any time. Your continued participation in the Referral Program after LawnGuru has posted an updated version of the Referral Terms constitutes your agreement to the updated version, and the updated version will be effective as of the time of posting or on such later date as may be specified in the updated version. In addition, LawnGuru reserves the right to (1) modify or terminate the Referral Program at any time and in any manner without notice to you, in whole or in part; and (2) remove you from the Referral Program if LawnGuru suspects you have engaged in fraudulent activity or determines, in its sole discretion, that you have abused the Referral Program or violated these Referral Terms or any other applicable agreement between you and LawnGuru. “LawnGuru” means Guru Ventures Inc., a Delaware corporation, and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies. “You” means a Referrer or New User, as defined below.

The Referral Program governs how a currently registered user of the LawnGuru platform in good standing (a “Referrer”) can receive LawnGuru credit (“Referral Credit”) by referring a friend or family member to register as a new user of the LawnGuru platform and meet certain other requirements (a “New User”), as more fully described below. The Referral Program is only available to users of the LawnGuru platform.

Referrers

A Referrer will receive Referral Credit for each “Qualified Referral,” which occurs when all of the following conditions are met:

1. The Referrer provides the Referrer’s unique Referral Code (the “Referral Code”) directly to the New User through email or text.
2. The New User (a) registers on the LawnGuru platform using the Referral Code provided to the New User by the Referrer; and (b) meets the offer requirements set forth in the Referral Code, which typically includes completing an order on the LawnGuru platform.
3. The New User has not previously registered on the LawnGuru platform.
4. The New User and Referrer are not the same person.
5. LawnGuru does not suspect that the Referrer or the New User have engaged in fraudulent activity.
6. The Referrer has not reached the Referral Cap as defined below.

If LawnGuru determines, in its sole discretion, that any of the above conditions have not been met and the Referrer has already received Referral Credit, LawnGuru reserves the right to revoke such Referral Credit.

The amount of Referral Credit that can be received for each Qualified Referral varies and may also vary over time, and will be stated in the Referrer’s LawnGuru account (in the area where the Referrer can access the Referral Code).

A Referrer will not receive Referral Credit, or Referral Credit may be revoked, if LawnGuru determines, in its sole discretion, that:

• Any Qualified Referral condition set forth above has not been met;
• The Referrer posted the Referral Code on a publicly accessible website such as, but not limited to, Google, Craigslist, Twitter, and RetailMeNot, Facebook, Instagram;
• The Referral Credit was received in connection with a New User who has previously created a LawnGuru account, even if such other account was created using a different email address, phone number, or other information; or
• The Referral Credit was received erroneously, fraudulently, illegally, or in violation of these Referral Terms or any other applicable agreement between you and LawnGuru.

New Users

A New User who registers on the LawnGuru platform using a Referral Code will be eligible for the offer stated in the Referral Message as long as LawnGuru determines, in its sole discretion, that all of the following conditions are met:

• The New User meets the requirements stated in the offer and the offer has not expired, if applicable.
• LawnGuru does not suspect that the New User has engaged in fraudulent activity.
• The Referrer who provided the Referral Code to the New User has not reached the Referral Cap.
• The Referrer’s LawnGuru account is active and LawnGuru does not suspect that the Referrer has engaged in fraudulent activity.
• All of the Qualified Referral conditions set forth above have been met.
