If you arrive to an AutoPlow job and notice that there’s little to no snow, or the snow has already melted, here's what you should do:
-
Check the Job Status
- Make sure the job is still marked as “ASAP” and confirm that no additional snow is expected in the forecast.
- If the job is still active and the snow conditions don't require service, do not mark the job as completed. Doing so could be considered fraudulent.
-
Request a Cancellation
- Use the Request Cancellation option to upload a photo and notify us that the service was unnecessary.
- You will still receive a trip fee for the visit if the job is on time, even if no service was provided.
-
Multiple Jobs in the Same Area?
- If you have several jobs in the same area and are confident that they won't need snow clearing, you can cancel all affected jobs at once—rather than driving to each one individually.
- However, be sure to check jobs in areas where snow accumulation may still be present.
-
Communicate with Customers
- If necessary, send a Broadcast Message to your remaining customers, reminding them that they can skip service if their driveway doesn’t require plowing this storm.
