What happens if I request a cut and it starts raining?

Edited

At LawnGuru, all services are weather permitting. Our priority is providing high-quality service while ensuring the safety of our providers and the protection of your property.

How weather affects your service

During significant weather events (such as heavy rain), services in the affected area are temporarily placed on hold. This prevents potential damage, such as soil compaction or turf tearing, which can occur when operating heavy equipment on saturated ground.

  • Rescheduling: Services will resume as soon as conditions are safe and suitable for professional work, or on the next dry day.

  • Communication: If a provider has already been assigned to your job, you can message them directly in the app to get an update on their local conditions and estimated arrival.

What to do if your lawn is too wet

Even after the rain stops, your lawn may still be too saturated for a mower. If you believe your property is too wet to be serviced safely:

  1. Open the LawnGuru app and navigate to My Service.

  2. Select the option to Skip your service until the following week.

  3. This allows the ground time to dry and removes the risk of ruts or property damage.
